The marketing and sales executive will drive TSI’s efforts in product marketing, applications engineering, demonstration and deployment and sales of our products
This position is responsible for identifying prospective partners, customers, and other end users of TSI’s equipment, the competition and customer challenges.
The Sales executive will monitor market requests for bids, tenders, analyze reports against key performance matrix for sales and marketing programs and work in co-operation with local channel partners and distributors.
The Sales executive will also take responsibility of bid submissions, demos & trials, training, maintenance and services.
Drive awareness of TeknoScan products, technologies, capabilities and services within defined market segments.
Engage in an active feedback loop with customers, direct channel partner sales organizations, internal engineering, product development and other sales, marketing activities.
Design marketing material in collaboration with engineering and product development activities.
Attend trade shows, conferences and seminars to promote the product line and discover market requirements and new applications of TeknoScan’s equipment and solutions.
Advocate use of sales, marketing and reporting tools and resources that enable direct sales and channel partners to achieve success. The right candidate will take an active communications role in support of new product introduction in advance of new product initiatives.
Will introduce new clients to the product lines and build on existing relationships including feedback on quoting and selling data in the market. He/she will also handle tender requests within assigned region(s) in pricing and technical documents.
Will assist in demonstration requests and manage the clients while field engineers conduct the demo or trial at the client facility.
In a joint effort with field engineers, he/she will provide training and presentation to clients on how to use the product, gearing towards client applications and requirements.
Technical background is required.
Marketing and sales skills with several years experience, preferably in the security, life science and industrial markets.
Some international experience is desirable, possessing a valid passport and being able to travel internationally.
Previous experience working with governments and/or private security organizations and agencies is highly desirable including law enforcement agencies and the military.
Fluency in English is essential. Being multi-lingual is an asset.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide technical presentation and training sessions to clients.
