Data and Reporting for Supply Chain operations - "one version of the truth"
The Data and Reporting Lead will establish and maintain a framework and methods to build, document, improve and evaluate operator needs in the use of data and information to support process decision making. This will include creating archives of essential validated data for analysis and investigations, rationalizing existing reports, building KPI scorecards and designing new/replacement tools for operators in the field.
The Lead will oversee a team of analysts to execute the required work and validate it meets expectations with operational subject matter experts (SMEs though the use of the Supply Chain Change Management model and PACE vision in how the work is completed. The Data and Reporting Leader will coordinate efforts with IT, Systems and other relevant areas of the business.
. Assess, explore and roll out new reports and best practices
. Maintain and build the infrastructure, roles, responsibilities in their respective area and develop their colleagues
. Execute and evolve the existing methodology to design and Execute a national reporting strategy
. Lead development and validation of national standardized operational reporting with SMEs
. Build and implement archive summary and exception data bases to support analytics and reporting
. Work with IT to productionize storing of data and report production for long term sustainability
. Create and execute a work intake process for report and data requests, changes, and maintenance.
. Develop and maintain a central reference list of queries, reports, designs, training aids and how to use documentation, all mapped to business processes.
. Ensure consistency of approach, products for each work stream
. Obtain upline governance on plans, schedule and work being pursued.
. Establish internal review/approval process for operational reporting and data collection
. Ensure results are being achieved to meet business needs
. Develop colleague development plan to ensure business results are sustainable
. Track expense; planning & executing a labour plan,
. Propose policies and procedures based on framework established and declared expectations; oversee gathering of input into policy decisions; take drafts and proposals to their manager for discussion and decision
. Convert overall strategy and framework into workable scheduled objectives and tasks necessary to achieve the strategy.
. Other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications. 3 - 5 years' experience in a supply chain or retail organization
. 1 - 3 years' Supervisory/Management experience
. University or College degree in Technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc is ideal
. Strong ability to interact with field operators, gain consensus, resolve conflict and turn into work plans to produce desired output
. Proven experience in Project Management and resource planning, demonstrating effective creative solutions to deadlines and resource limitations
. Expertise in Data Marts, Data Cubes (Methods to build, store and organize large amount of business information Data visualization, Database administration and Report development, design and documentation.
. Experience in Manhattan, JDA/TMS, IPFR, Teradata data sources
. Experience with PL/SQL developer, Crystal Reports, SAS, MicroStrategy or comparable BI reporting software applications.
. Ability to persuade, influence and/or negotiate with contacts inside and outside an organization
